Fontainebleau Miami Beach partners with Eliot Weisman, author, and Jennifer Valoppi, co author, for a Q&A dinner to discuss their new book, The Way It Was, a candid look at the final decades of Frank Sinatra's life. Enjoy a cocktail reception, followed by a three-course dinner with wine pairings and Sinatra Classics performed by Michael Martocci and his 17 piece orchestra. All guests will receive a signed copy of The Way It Was. Dinner & Show packages start at $129 per person.

For decades, Eliot Weisman was an advisor, confidant, and at times a psychiatrist and protector of some of the most notable names in entertainment.  Relying on him for management and tour bookings were the careers of Liza Minnelli, Sammy Davis Jr., Don Rickles, Steve Lawrence, Eydie Gormé, Joan Rivers, Paul Anka, Julio Iglesias, and many others.  But his “Boss” from 1975 through 1998—the man with whom he shared his most transformative memories and whose friends and family he would come to know intimately—was legendary singer Frank Sinatra.

In the bestselling tradition of Henry Bushkin's Johnny Carson comes THE WAY IT WAS: My Life with Frank Sinatra (Hachette Books; 10/24/17; 320 pages; $27; ISBN 978-0-316-47008-7),  an eye-opening look at Frank Sinatra, told by his long-time manager and friend Eliot Weisman and co-authored by Sinatra friend and television journalist Jennifer Valoppi.
